Half-yearly Examinations take place between 7 and 17 February 2012 for secondary school students and between 14 and 16 February 2012 for primary school pupils.
The Annual Examinations take place between 12 and 27 June 2012 for secondary school students and between 25 and
27 June 2012 for primary school pupils.
Students of year 6 in the Primary sit for Benchmark Exams held on the 4, 5, 6 June and Orals held on 11 and 12 of June
2012.
On 16, 19 and 20 September 2011 and on 9, 10 and 11 July 2012, teachers who are called to do so, attend in-service training (INSET) courses.

During June, schools are on half-days.
Teachers called upon to attend INSET courses in September start their school year on the 16 September 2011.
Teachers called upon to attend INSET courses in July end their school year on the 11 July 2012.
